Ageratum Flowers
Ageratum, botanically known as Ageratum houstonianum, is a compact flowering plant native to Central America and Mexico. It belongs to the Aster family and is widely grown as an annual ornamental plant. Ageratum produces soft, fluffy flowers in shades of blue, purple, and pink, along with bright green leaves.
The plant prefers full sun to partial shade and grows best in moist, well-drained soil. Ageratum flowers are popular for borders, flower beds, hanging baskets, and containers because of their long blooming season. Their nectar-rich blooms also attract butterflies, making gardens look lively and colorful.
