Cornflower Flowers

Bearing charming and profuse flowers for months, Centaurea cyanus, known as cornflower are particularly attractive annual plants with usually double, daisy-like flower heads in shades of blue, pink, lavender, and white. Blooming abundantly from late spring into late summer, they rise cheerfully atop tall stems clad with lance-shaped, grey-green leaves. It attracts butterflies, bees, and other pollinators and beneficial insects. It is perfect for borders and gardens.

It is easy to grow and virtually pest and disease free. They are also deere-resistant and drought-tolerant. It grows in upright clumps up to 12 -36 inches tall and spread 6-12 inches wide.
