Hollyhock flowers

Hollyhock is a classic cottage garden plant known for its tall stems covered with large, colorful blooms. A member of the mallow family, it is native to Asia and Europe and has long been cherished for its charm in gardens. Its flowers come in a wide range of shades, including pink, red, yellow, white, purple, and burgundy, creating a striking display.

They thrive in full sun and grow best in fertile, well-drained soil with consistent moisture. Their towering flower spikes make them ideal for planting along fences, walls, and the back of gardens.
