Yourhomify Mobile App
This section applies to the Yourhomify app for Android (package name `com.yourhomify.app`), available on Google Play. The app is a reader for the articles and galleries published on yourhomify.com. It does not require an account, does not ask for your name, email address, contacts, location, photos or payment details, and does not show advertising.
Information the app collects
Usage analytics: We use Google Firebase Analytics to understand which screens and articles are popular, how long reading sessions last and which app features are used. This data is aggregated and tied to a random app-instance identifier, not to your name or email. We do not collect the Android Advertising ID.
Crash and performance reports: We use Google Firebase Crashlytics to receive reports when the app crashes or freezes. A report contains the device model, operating system version, app version, the point in the app where the error happened and a random installation identifier.
Push notification token: If you turn on “New post alerts” in the app’s Settings, Google Firebase Cloud Messaging creates a device token so that we can send you a notification when a new article is published. The token is not linked to any personal information. You can turn alerts off at any time in the app’s Settings or in your phone’s notification settings, and the token is deleted when you uninstall the app.
Content requests: The app loads articles, images and galleries directly from yourhomify.com, so our web server sees your IP address and the pages requested, exactly as a web browser visit would. See the website sections of this policy above.
Information stored only on your device
Bookmarked articles, reading history, recent searches, theme and text-size preferences are stored locally on your phone so the app works offline. They are never uploaded to us and are removed when you clear the app’s data or uninstall it.
Third parties
The services above are provided by Google LLC (Firebase). Google processes this data on our behalf under the Firebase terms and Google’s privacy policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy). We do not sell app data and do not share it with any other third party.
Your choices and data deletion
Analytics and crash data are anonymous and cannot be traced back to you, so there is no personal data to retrieve. Uninstalling the app stops all collection and removes local data and the notification token. Children
The app is intended for a general audience aged 18 and over and is not directed at children under 13.
