Yellow Archangel flowers

Yellow Archangel flowers (Lamiastrum galeobdolon) bloom in mid-spring to early summer. This flower belongs to the fast-growing plant of the mint family. With brown or orange spots on its lower petals, this small, bright yellow tubular flower has become the nightmare of gardeners because of its fast, invasive growth. In the Pacific Northwest and some other regions, it’s classified as a noxious weed. Its growth can be harmful to other native plants around it, and it’s harmful for human consumption as well. Artillery plant, Aluminium plant, and golden dead nettle are its other known names worldwide.
