Variegated String of Hearts Plant
Variegated String of Hearts (Bushman’s Pipe) is part of the botanical family Apocynaceae and the genus Ceropegia. These evergreen perennial plants are native to South Africa (Zimbabwe). The plant grows best in dappled sunlight and good drainage. The leaves are dark green and heart-shaped. The seeds have pappu and dispersed by the wind.
The plant is also called Rosary Vine because of the presence of tubers along cascading vine. String of Heart is used is decoration purposes for indoors. It is grown as hanging baskets, rock garden or wall plant.
