Tarragon Plant
Tarragon (Dragon Plant) belongs to the botanical family Asteraceae and the genus Artemisia. These perennial plants are native to Temperate Europe, Asia, and western North America. These herbaceous plants are up to 3 ft tall and grow best in bright sunlight and well-drained soil. The flowers are green-white, pedicillate, and bloom during summer.
These plants are used as a flavour in food and in medicine. They help in relieving toothache and stomach pain, and have diuretic effects. Tarragon also improves sleep and lowers blood sugar levels.
