Swiss cheese plant
Swiss Cheese is an epiphytic and climbing plant that belongs to the botanical family Araceae and the genus Monstera. These perennial plants are native to Central America. The plant is 6-8 ft tall and grows best in dappled sunlight and well-drained soil. The flowers bloom during summer and spring in a spathe inflorescence with a long peduncle. The leaves have holes like Swiss cheese; that’s why it’s named after it.
These plants are widely grown as ornamental plants to decorate landscapes and outdoors. They add aesthetic appeal and also act as an air purifier.
