Actaea Plants
Actaea plants are part of the botanical family Ranunculaceae (buttercup). These herbaceous flowering plants are native to Europe, Asia, and North America. The plant is 3-4 feet tall and grows in a moderate climate with cool summers and fertile soil. The flowers of Actaea are creamy white in color and held in clusters on a spike.
The flowers are rich in nectar and fragrance that attracts pollinators like bees, birds, butterflies, and hummingbirds. Actaea plants have medicinal properties and phenolic compounds. They are also widely used to treat symptoms of menopause, toothache, and headache.
