Bindweed(field) Flowers
One of the most stubborn agricultural weeds, the bindweed plant is scientifically classified as Convolvulus arvensis in the morning glory family. These trailing perennial plants have trumpet-shaped flowers in the shade, white and pink, which do resemble the morning glory flower.
They grow up to 1 inch tall and generally have a creeping habit, which makes them act as a ground cover. True to its name, these plants have an extensively deep root system which is highly invasive and is said to harm 50-60% of field crop yield every year.
The most effective way to get rid of these weeds from your garden area is using effective chemical herbicides.
