Cape Jasmine Flowers
Native to Southern China and Japan, the Cape Jasmine is a large evergreen shrub with thick, lustrous, lance-shaped, dark-green leaves and extremely fragrant white flowers. Blooming throughout the year in warm climates, where temperatures do not fall below 60℉, this plant blooms in late spring to early summer in cooler climates. It is toxic to pets.
This evergreen shrub has a bushy habit and grows up to 3-6 feet tall and wide. It propagates by seed, greenwood, and semi-hardwood cuttings, and requires full sun to partial shade with consistently moist, acidic, organically rich, well-drained soils.
