Columbine Flowers

Aquilegia, commonly known as Columbine, is a genus of approximately 60-70 species of perennial plants in the buttercup family. It is known for its unique flower shape and vibrant colors, making it a popular plant among gardeners. It has delicate, fern-like foliage and graceful, nodding flowers with unique, spurred petals.

The Columbine grows in a clump-forming habit, with the foliage forming a mound at the base and the flower stalks rising above. It generally reaches a height of 1-3 feet and spreads about 1-2 feet wide. The flowers come in various colors, including blue, red, yellow, pink, and white.
