Adding or swapping cushions is one of the easiest and most affordable ways to refresh a room’s atmosphere. For a more eye-pleasing setup, it is always best to mix different sizes, textures, and patterns, such as pairing a large linen square cushion with a small velvety rectangle one. For sofas, always use odd numbers of cushions, and for beds or armchairs, even pairs work best. If you want a little fluffy look, the inner should be one size larger than the cover, and opt for feather or down filling rather than polyester so they maintain their shape over time.
