Daisy (Wild) Flowers

Botanically known as Leucanthemum Vulgare, the Wild Daisy is a hardy, free-spirited wildflower that blankets open meadows, roadsides, and grasslands. Larger and taller than its garden-bound relatives, it features a classic composite head with a single ring of brilliant white petals radiating around a flat, rich golden-yellow central disc.

Its spoon-shaped, dark green leaves are deeply lobed and grow along slender stems that can reach up to 3 feet tall. It is a resilient wildflower that thrives in poor, uncultivated soils and full sunlight. It blooms abundantly from late spring through autumn, serving as a critical nectar source for bees.
