Halcyon Hosta Plant

Halcyon Hosta is a part of the botanical family Asparagaceae and the genus Hosta. These perennial plants are native to China, Japan, Korea, and Far East Russia. The plant grows best in dappled sunlight and in organic soil with good drainage. The flowers are purple/white bell-shaped in a raceme inflorescence. The leaves are glossy and waxy.

The plant attracts pollinators, bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds. Leaves are a food source for Deer and rabbits. Halcyon Hosta can easily grow in a polluted environment and is mostly grown in shaded areas.
