Hepatica flowers
Hepatica is a small woodland perennial famous for its delicate blooms that appear at the very beginning of spring. A member of the Ranunculaceae family, this hardy plant is native to Europe, Asia, and North America. Its daisy-like flowers come in shades of blue, lavender, pink, purple, and white.
These plants prefer cool, partially shaded locations and grow best in fertile, well-drained soil enriched with organic matter. Its attractive three-lobed leaves remain on the plant for much of the year, providing additional texture and interest.
