Kohuhu Plant

Kohuhu is a part of the botanical family Pittosporaceae and the genus Pittosporum. These plants are native to New Zealand. The shrubs are 5- 10 ft tall and grow best in full light and well-drained soil. Kohuhu is popular for its shiny leaves and dark brown flowers.  

The flowers of Kohuhu are filled with nectar and honey and attract moths and night-flying insects. The plant is used for different purposes, such as resins and oil extracts, which are used in making scents and perfumes. Kohuhu has antimicrobial properties too.
