Maidenhair Fern Plant

Maidenhair Fern Plant is a part of the botanical family Pteridaceae (ribbon) and the genus Adiantum. These perennial plants are native to eastern North America and eastern Asia. The fern is up to 3 ft tall and grows best in full shade and moist acidic soil. The fronds are airy and fan-shaped, and it reproduces via spores.

Adiantum is believed to possess anti-diabetic, antithyroidal, anti-obesity, anti-asthmatic, and other medicinal properties. It is also used in hair wash and conditioner as it prevents hair loss. Maidenhair frond is used in tea and juice drinks.
