Motherwort flowers
Motherwort is a hardy perennial herb valued for its soft green leaves and small pink to purple flowers that bloom during summer. It has been grown for centuries in herb gardens because of its traditional medicinal uses and its ability to attract bees and other helpful pollinators. Motherwort grows best in full sun to partial shade and adapts well to most well-drained soils. It is easy to care for and can thrive with little maintenance once established. USDA Hardiness Zones 4–8, where it returns each year with healthy new growth.
