Palmetum

A palmetum is a dedicated space or a botanical garden made for cultivation, research, and collection of palm varieties. This collection includes all types of palm plants, such as small, fan-shaped trees with long and feathery leaves. Palmetums were created to protect certain threatened or vulnerable palm species. Some of the notable palmetums can be found in warm places like the Canary Islands, Florida, and Southeast Asia.
