Pencil Cactus Plant
Pencil Cactus is a woody plant belonging to the botanical family Euphorbiaceae and the genus Euphorbia. These succulents are native to Madagascar. The plants grow best in full sunlight and well-drained acidic soil. The flowers are gold/yellow and have a long bloom season. The capsule is green or pink in color and divided into three parts.
These plants are often considered toxic and used as ornamental plants. Pencil Cactus is also studied for medicinal properties because it is anti-inflammatory and anticancer.
