Rose of Sharon flowers

The Rose of Sharon is an exotic-looking hibiscus variety. In Britain, the flower is an evergreen ground cover shrub that produces large yellow blossoms. You will often find them growing along river banks or on sloppy areas. This is also regarded as the national flower of South Korea, where it is known as mugunghwa. Being a cold-hardy species, it can thrive in USDA zones 5-9. 

Six hours of direct sunlight, rich, organic soil, moderate watering, and regular pruning are all it takes for this bloom to flourish.
