Tea Garden

The term tea garden stands for two different things. In Britain and India, a tea garden is a place where either tea is served or grown. You will notice an outdoor space filled with herbal plants such as tulsi, peppermint, or lavender, which are often used to make infused herbal teas. However, in Japan, a tea garden basically means a roji path, or a dewy pathway that leads the guest to a tea house for a tea ceremony.
