Thimbleweed flowers

Thimbleweed is a graceful wildflower admired for its delicate white blooms and distinctive thimble-shaped seed heads that remain attractive long after flowering. Belonging to the buttercup family, it thrives in meadows, open woodlands, and prairies across temperate regions. Blooming from late spring to summer, its lightly nodding flowers attract bees, butterflies, and other beneficial pollinators. As the petals fade, the fluffy seed heads add texture and seasonal charm to natural landscapes.
