Uraria is a shrub having a family of Fabaceae, including more than 20 species, native to uraria- Africa, The Indian Subcontinent, China, Malesia, Australia. Uraria is a kind of tropical plant, the famous variety of uraria is Uraria Picta also known as Prishniparni, was described in 1825. This plant can grow up to 1-6 feet tall, has thin and tall leaves in green in yellow shaded color, also grows flowers having pink color and these are tall too. This is a traditional plant that is also used for ayurveda herbs. The Uraria plant grows during the monsoon season.
