Valerian is a perennial flowering plant, belonging to the family of caprifoliaceae, native to Europe and southwestern Asia. Valerian also has a latin word named valeriana officinalis. This plant is a herbal plant, its roots and stem are used for medicine purposes, treatment including migraine, stomach and now-a-days also for anxiety, stress and depression.
