Venus Flytrap (Flowering) flowers
Venus flytrap is a carnivore which belongs to the droseraceae family, native to North Carolina and South Carolina. This plant has a trap on each leaf and the trap is made of two hinges with sharp hair-like structure at outer space. The plant doesn’t waste its energy every time when its prey touches a single trap, but it traps the prey when it touches multiple times to the plant. Venus Flytrap grows in the moist environment where the soil is poor in nutrients. Ants, beetles, grasshoppers, spiders are some insects that are all victims of Venus Flytrap.
