Zebra Plant flowers

Zebra plant flowers (Aphelandra Squarrosa) grow in the deep darkness of the Atlantic Rainforest of Brazil. The plant grows tall, cone-shaped spikes covered in vibrant yellow leaf-like parts called bracts. It dies in direct sunlight and cold temperatures, and when everything is perfect, it still dies in 6 weeks. It’s one of those plants that requires a dedicated amount of care, protection from direct sunlight, and a certain amount of water and humidity to grow. It takes 2 to 3 years for a plant to grow into a flower, but after a flower dies, you can remove its spikes from the base and grow a new zebra plant flower.
