Iris( Black) flowers

Similar to other black flowers, no iris flower is truly black. ‘Before the Storm,’ ‘Hello Darkness,’ ‘Superstition,’ and ‘Old Black Magic’ are some notable varieties, but they are not black; instead, these are deep purple or burgundy. Officially called Iris nigricans, the black iris is the national flower of Jordan and is an endangered species. One of the rarest wildflowers, the black iris is not easy to cultivate and has a very brief blooming period. If you are growing them outdoors, do not plant them too deep and monitor them regularly for pests and diseases.
